Heather is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (2023) and completed her B.A. and Criminology Certificate at Memorial University of Newfoundland (2016). She has experience working with adolescents and adults with concerns to anxiety, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, trauma, depression, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and challenging life transitions. Heather is a member of the Qalipu First Nation and is passionate about informing culturally responsive practices and bringing awareness to Indigenous representation within our province.
